What is Short Story Alley?

Short Story Alley is a website created for amateur writers to showcase their work. You may email your submissions, preferably 5,000 words or less to submissions@shortstoryalley.com. I am a paralegal from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada who likes to write. I am not a professional writer, so please
don't be offended if your submission is not published on the website. I will only select the submissions that I feel suit the website.

I am open to all genres of writing, as well as short stories, poems, single chapters of novels, snippets; as long as it's well written and entertaining.

If your work is selected, I will try to present it in an attractive manner (as well as I am able with my very limited grasp of web language). Please provide your name
or pseudonym, occupation, and email address where you can be reached and I will notify you if your work has been selected to be published.

You may request that your materials be removed from this site at any time. Please only send materials that have not been published in the past.

Please note we are unable to provide advice on copyright protection - if you are concerned about copyright, we suggest you contact a lawyer.

Please also note that by submitting a story to us you agree to our Terms of Use. Note particularly that by submitting a work to us you guarantee that you are
the owner of the copyright to that work. We do not require any transfer of this copyright - by submitting a story to us you agree to grant Short Story Alley
a non-exclusive licence to publish the work.
